The people behind the build.
Designers, builders and problem solvers.
Based in Cromwell, Central Otago, Hunter & Craig brings architectural design and construction together under one roof.
We design for clients across New Zealand and build throughout Central Otago and the Southern Lakes, creating homes and spaces that are considered from the very first sketch through to the final detail.
One team.
From concept to completion.
Our in-house design team, project planners, qualified Master Builders and trusted trades work closely together throughout every stage of a project.
Whether you need architectural design, working drawings and consents, a complete build or project management, we tailor our involvement around what your project needs — giving you one experienced team from the drawing board to the building site.
Built on experience.
Quality is at the heart of every Hunter & Craig project. We combine architectural thinking with practical construction knowledge to create homes that look beautiful, work beautifully and are built to last.
Every Hunter & Craig build is backed by a 10-year Master Build Guarantee, giving you confidence long after the build is complete.
Part of the community.
We’re proud to be part of the Central Otago community and believe being a local business means giving back to the place we call home.
Over the years, we’ve supported local sports clubs and individuals, helped community groups with building projects and contributed our time, skills and resources to causes close to our hearts.
From building two container homes that raised more than $100,000 for the Help Harry Walk fundraiser, to being recognised with a TrustPower Community Award, we’re proud to put our expertise to work where it can make a difference.
Local roots. Lasting connections.
