“We hired Hunter and Craig initially to design and build us a traditional style ‘gold miners’ hut on our land at Northburn, Lake Dunstan. We wanted an open fireplace, solid timber window joinery and doors, stacked stone fireplace and exterior, railway sleepers, and solid timber floors and ceilings. We were impressed with the workmanship and dedication to completing the project to the highest standard from not only Hunter and Craig but also their sub-contractors. However the design and the budget did not meet so after talking with Derek and Shaun about the issues we were confident they could mould the design and build a home that would work financially and make us happy.
