The brief:
Our clients came to us with completed plans but a cost estimate well beyond their expectations. They gave us the challenge of simplifying the build while preserving most of the desired outcomes. The design team together with our project managers worked their magic and created this sleek modern core of this new home.
The project:
The biggest challenge was construction had to take place while the owners were living in the existing two-bedroom wing which was to be incorporated into the total house. However, with patience and careful planning from our project manager the build ran smoothly and efficiently without disrupting the everyday lives of our clients. Our clients were very involved in the design of this home and along the way saw opportunities for additional enhancements which created the final result. These changes frequently took more planning and further additional design and documentation as well as changes to construction planning and the build schedule.
The result:
The result of this collaboration between the clients, the design and construction teams resulted in a stunning family home. This home is a wonderful example of how great client relationships and teamwork can produce something truly special.
